The town of Torno is located near the city of Como. Just north of the town is Villa Pliniana, built in the 16th century, situated on the lake and surrounded by a magical park. In the town itself, it’s worth visiting the Church of Santa Tecla, which features a magnificent carved marble portal, a bell tower, and a rose window. Another notable church is San Giovanni Battista del Chiodo, which, according to tradition, safeguards a nail from the cross of Jesus.
