Palazzo Adriano is worth visiting for its historical sites, but especially to enjoy the filming locations of the famous movie Cinema Paradiso (directed by Giuseppe Tornatore). In the town stands the Bourbon Castle (Castello Borbonico) and the main square, Piazza Umberto I, where the emotional events of the film took place.
Prizzi is a short drive away and captivates with its tightly packed houses on the mountain slope and its picturesque alleys. Around these towns are several mountain nature reserves that are worth including in a day tour of the area.
