The name of the mountain is a translation of the word “saw” in the local Lombard dialect, due to the appearance of its serrated ridge, with nine peaks resembling saw teeth.
A recommended route for families is Campo de Boi, an easy walking trail that features picnic areas and playgrounds for children. There are also other hiking and climbing routes of varying difficulty, as well as a cable car that takes visitors to the Piani d’Erne viewpoint.
