Located on the seashore of the Riviera di Ponente, Alassio is a perfect town for a vacation. Among small churches and alleys leading down to the beaches, it’s worth seeing the town’s symbol, the Muretto di Alassio (“the wall of Alassio”), which features souvenirs, symbols, sculptures, and signatures of famous visitors from years past—a colorful and picturesque wall. The beaches, with their fine golden sand, are freely accessible to the public. A recommended viewpoint is Capo di Santa Croce, located by the sea, from which you can see the town’s bay.
