The modern symbol of Pesaro since 1998, located on Pesaro’s beautiful promenade. This golden metal sphere, created by sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro, expresses the connection between man and the earth. It is a globe split in half, offering a glimpse into a world of gears inside. This sculpture is a replica made of polyester in 1967 for the Expo exhibition in Montreal and arrived in Pesaro in 1971. Positioned on a water-covered platform facing the sea, the sculpture creates a beautiful, calming, and thought-provoking scene.
