One of the most impressive Roman sites in northern Italy. The remains of the Roman city Brixia, dating back to the 1st century AD, feature at its center a temple built for the gods Jupiter, Juno, and Minerva. In the complex, located on Via dei Musei, there are fascinating and beautifully preserved remains, including marble floors, forum columns, statues, and part of the ancient city’s theater.
