A visit to this chapel is highly recommended because of the group of sculptures standing beside the altar. Each of the statues represents a member of the family of the chapel’s 18th-century planner, the Prince of Sansevero, Raimondo di Sangro. The sculpting work is stunning, notable for its intricate details and the symbolism each piece conveys.
