Positano has earned worldwide fame. Once a small and hidden fishing village, it has become one of the most sought-after destinations in the world. Located in the center of the Amalfi Coast, its houses are built along the slopes of two hills. Exploring its alleys is done on foot. You can begin the descent from the upper viewpoint (La Madonnina), passing through stairways and whitewashed houses, and soak in the local atmosphere.

Alternatively, you can start from the point where the public bus stops—at the beginning of Via Cristoforo Colombo—and walk toward the local church, Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta, and from there descend all the way to the beach (Marina Grande).

Along the narrow streets, you’ll find shops offering locally styled clothing and fabric bags, delicatessens, and bakeries inviting visitors to enjoy a coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, or homemade gelato.
