The painting gallery of Bari, located inside a building on the N. Sauro promenade, houses a very large collection of artworks, ranging from Apulian Romanesque to Italian Rococo. In over 20 rooms, you can see interesting archaeological finds from across the region, religious paintings from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, as well as scenes of local life from the 17th and 18th centuries.
