A recommended Mediterranean town to visit, with whitewashed houses, cobbled alleys, and beaches that seem to call everyone to relax by the sea. A lookout from the fortress (Il Castello) is highly recommended—its foundations date back to the 10th century, though it has undergone many changes and is now quite different from the original. In the town center, you’ll find charming alleys, souvenir stalls, family-run restaurants, and several churches worth visiting (such as Chiesa di Sant’Elia).

On the way out of town heading toward Vieste, you’ll encounter some of the most stunning beaches in the area. However, be sure to check out Spiaggia di Marina, located to the west of town—highly recommended by locals for its excellent facilities and breathtaking sunsets.
