The main port located on the northern side of the island. In the past, it was actually the island’s secondary port, while Marina Piccola served as the primary one. Marina Grande is part of the town of Capri and is bustling with tourists arriving and departing by boat. It receives boats from Sorrento, Naples, and Ischia. The houses visible from the dock create a Mediterranean atmosphere and the feeling of a perfect vacation. From here, visitors can begin exploring the island in various ways: some take a boat tour around the island, others ride the funicular up to the center of Capri town, and some use public transport to head straight to the town of Anacapri.
