This small but much-loved lake, popular with hikers, is located north of the larger Lake Garda. To reach it, you drive up to the foot of Monte Misone, where, next to the Club Hotel Lago di Tenno, a path leads down to the lake.

The water is a striking turquoise color, surrounded by mountains, olive trees, and chestnut trees. It is the perfect spot for a refreshing swim on hot summer days or for enjoying a picnic along its shores.

Although the lake’s size has been gradually shrinking over the years, it still feeds the Magnone River, which flows down to the Varone Waterfalls.

Please note that there are no facilities at the lake for changing clothes or storing belongings.
