A lake in the northern part of the province, situated at 368 meters above sea level, fed by the Fiume Chiese river. Covering nearly 11 km², the lake is a natural gem. Fortresses (Rocca di Anfo), surrounding mountains (Monte Maniva), picturesque towns, and a variety of sports activities (including paragliding) make the area a perfect holiday destination. In the town of Bagolino, it is highly recommended to visit during the annual carnival in February, when the town transforms into a vibrant festival of masks and colors.
