The oldest church in Campobasso and another fine example of simple Romanesque architecture. It was built on the ruins of a pagan temple, and its style has remained modest. The interior consists of three longitudinal halls, and in the 15th century its walls were adorned with depictions of Saint Augustine and the Apostles. It is worth taking a look at the unique cemetery adjacent to the church. From this spot, too, one can enjoy an impressive view of the entire area.
