A wonderful view can be enjoyed from this scenic terrace, named after the Italian writer and poet Giuseppe Carducci, located above Rocca Paolina. For visitors entering via the fortress, it’s recommended to start the tour from this viewpoint.

At the center of the terrace stands a statue by Pietro di Cristoforo Vannucci, the painter better known as Perugino, who was very active in the city. The viewpoint area includes informational maps about the region, benches for rest, and an excellent opportunity to breathe fresh air. On a clear day, it’s possible to see the city of Assisi in the distance and imagine the many battles fought between these two cities centuries ago.
