Val Camonica is renowned for its prehistoric rock carvings, preserved for tens of thousands of years. These petroglyphs can be found within the Stelvio National Park (Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio) and Adamello Park (Parco dell’Adamello). Scattered between them are dozens of stunning ancient towns. In winter, the area attracts many visitors with its wide variety of ski trails.
