For lovers of 360-degree views, the city clock tower comes highly recommended. Located in the stylish Piazza della Libertà, the tower was built in the mid-15th century and rises 64 meters high. From its top, you can see the rooftops of Macerata, the Sibillini hills of the Marche region surrounding it, and the Adriatic Sea to the east.
Also worth noting is the clock, installed in the 16th century (renovated in 2015), featuring a period-typical blue background, the zodiac signs, and a sculpture of Mary and Jesus above it.
