Forni di Sopra + Sauris
Two towns located in the heart of the Carnia region in the Friulian Alps. In these towns, set amidst breathtaking scenery, you can see traditional stone cladding on house walls and wooden upper floors that were once used as barns. Traditional wood carvings depicting local figures and religious historical stories are also visible. Here, an ancient dialect is preserved, originating from the Carnian tribes that once lived in the area.
