One of the leading archaeological sites in the Lazio region and in Italy as a whole. Visiting it is like stepping back to the 7th century BCE, when Rome was still a monarchy. The site features the Roman theater, which is still used today for performances and concerts, the Thermopolium – a kind of ancient inn or tavern – and the sculpture museum. All of this is set within a pine forest, creating a very pleasant atmosphere.

It’s also worth visiting the monument dedicated to filmmaker Pier Paolo Pasolini, located about a 10-minute drive from the archaeological site.
