At this special palace, visit the Hall of the Months (Sala Dei Mesi), a huge hall (24 meters long, 11 meters wide, 7.5 meters high) featuring an amazing series of frescoes that depict good governance through stories from mythology and astrology.

On one of the walls, there is a wonderful depiction of the months of the year, which gave the hall its name. On the ceiling, a portrait of Duke Borso d’Este, who ordered the hall’s construction, is shown in various scenes of power and holiness.
