Address: Palazzo Tolla, Via San Giovanni del Toro, n. 1, 84010

Ravello is a must-visit. Its location is simply perfect for enjoying one of the most beautiful panoramic views in the area—perhaps in all of Italy. It was founded in the 5th century as a refuge from barbarian raids following the fall of the Roman Empire. In the 9th century, it became linked to the Maritime Republic of Amalfi.

Upon arriving at the main square, Piazza Centrale, it’s worth visiting one of the two famous villas:

Villa Rufolo (with its entrance right from the square), which overlooks the Bay of Salerno and features a stunning garden that blooms almost year-round. During the summer months, the villa hosts the Wagner Festival, a celebration of music and art.

The second villa is Villa Cimbrone, which requires a bit of a walk through Ravello’s narrow alleys. The villa has a panoramic terrace called the “Terrace of Infinity,” offering breathtaking views that leave visitors speechless.

Don’t miss it!
