Palazzo Roncale is a typical example of displaying status and power. It is a building constructed with the funding of Giovanni Roncale, a nobleman who came from Lombardy in 1550 and wanted to demonstrate the strength and status of his family specifically in the northeastern city. Although from the outside it is not distinctly decorated or eye-catching, inside it is rich with tapestries and valuable furniture. Some of these are additions from the 20th century.
