Type of park: Amusement park, water park, and medieval dinner show

Location: On the shores of Lake Garda, in the southeastern part of the lake. About 10 minutes from the town of Peschiera del Garda.

Canevaworld Resort is an amazing amusement complex, located only 4 km from Gardaland, and is divided into three different sections, all adjacent to one another:

Caneva Aquapark – A fantastic water park featuring a wide variety of water attractions: swimming pools, slides with different adrenaline levels for all ages, tubing tracks, waterfalls, and plenty of wet fun for the whole family.

Movieland – A mini amusement park for kids, inspired by Hollywood movies. While not as large as Gardaland, it offers rides and attractions themed around famous films. The park is divided into family-friendly, adventure, and action zones.

Medieval Times Dinner & Show – Located next to the water park (on the other side), this experience combines a medieval-style dinner with a knights’ tournament show for the whole family. Four knights on horseback compete in games and duels to win the heart of a princess. Each knight has a different color, and guests receive a crown matching their knight’s color at entry. Cheering for your knight makes the event colorful, loud (children may take time to adjust), and very entertaining. The meal itself is delicious and recreates medieval knight life: vegetable soup in handleless iron bowls, whole chickens served without cutlery (forcing kids to eat just like in the old days). Vegetarian options are also available.

Important Notes:

It’s possible (and recommended) to purchase a combined ticket for all three sections, which is cheaper than buying them separately.

If you’re planning a week-long trip in the Lake Garda area and want to maximize your time, you can cover all three experiences in one day. Just start early and stay efficient.

Suggested schedule:

From 10:00 to 18:00: enjoy both Caneva Aquapark and Movieland (they’re next to each other and only a few minutes’ walk apart).

After a rest, head to the first Medieval Times show at 19:00 (or the second show at 21:30 during summer).

If your hotel is nearby, you can even return to rest before catching the later show.
